Liquid Face Lift

The Liquid Facelift procedure is a popular non-surgical, minimally-invasive treatment that can address multiple concerns at one time. The term Liquid Facelift refers to the way that this treatment works. To accomplish rewarding results, your provider will use various injectable solutions. These may include BOTOX® or Dysport® to relax muscles that are tugging on the skin, dermal fillers like Restylane®, and even Sculptra® or Kybella®.

Each Liquid Facelift procedure is customized. After your consultation, you'll know exactly which products are ideal for you, where each will be used, on what concerns, and what you can expect in terms of cosmetic outcome. 

If you are a healthy adult with concerns related to the signs of aging, you may be a great candidate for a Liquid Facelift! We often perform this treatment for patients who could benefit from more comprehensive treatment but aren't ready for or interested in surgical facial rejuvenation. Some of the concerns that your provider can address through a Liquid Facelift include:

• Fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes
• Undereye bags
• Horizontal forehead lines
• Frown lines
• Dark circles under the eyes
• Flattened cheek contours
• Nasolabial folds (smile lines)
• Marionette lines or downturned corners of the mouth
• Thin or deflated lips or nondistinct lip definition
• Jowls
• Double chin
• Neck wrinkles

Most of the products that are used in a Liquid Facelift require just one treatment to achieve satisfying results. The two exceptions are Sculptra® and Kybella®. These two products work differently than the average wrinkle-reducer and so require multiple treatments to achieve the desired result. Sculptra® is a collagen-stimulator. It restores better facial contours gradually via tissue remodeling via prolonged collagen proliferation. Kybella® is the injectable that we use to target unwanted fat under the chin. Each session inserts an active ingredient that destroys fat cells. The body will naturally metabolize those cells, eliminating them forever. It may take between two and four sessions to fully eradicate a double chin. 

Each product that is used in your Liquid Facelift may have a different expected lifespan. Your provider can help you plan accordingly to maintain your results over several months or years. On average, neuromodulators, used to correct dynamic wrinkles like crow's feet and frown lines, are repeated every three to six months. Dermal fillers tend to last one to two years. This is based on the density and structure of the dermal filler itself. Those used on the lips or under the eyes may last about a year. Thicker dermal fillers used on cheeks and jowls may last up to two years.
